Ronen SegevRonen Segev - Pianist

Pianist Ronen Segev (also known as Ronnie Segev) has performed around the world to critical acclaim. Most recently, Mr. Segev performed a solo recital in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, as the NAE's 1st Place ALEX Award Winner.

Mr. Segev graduated from The Juilliard School where he studied with Veda Kaplinsky. Before Juilliard, Mr. Segev attended the High School for Performing Arts in Houston (HSPVA), where he received numerous prizes and honors, including First Prize in the Dorothy Kelley Memorial Piano Competition and the H&H Piano Competition.

Mr. Segev is a major proponent of new music. Additionally, Mr. Segev has a known affinity for Chopin Mazurkas. Last year, Mr. Segev performed Mazurkas for the Kosciusko Foundation Chopin Series on a Steinway Model A piano.

Mr. Segev has been featured in numerous periodicals and news reports including The New York Times, Timeout NY, NY 1 News, ABC News, FOX News, and CBS News. Engagements this year include recitals in Paris, Washington D.C., New York, Oklahoma City, Houston, Sarasota, and Miami, Mr. Segev currently resides in New York City.


Laura MetcalfLaura Metcalf - Cellist

Laura is active in New York City and beyond as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician, and teacher. She has appeared on the Festival Chamber Music Series in Weill and Merkin Halls with members of the New York Philharmonic and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and performed chamber music in Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium, Tenri Institute, Detroit's Orchestra Hall, the J.P. Morgan Library, Le Poisson Rouge, and many others. She has performed as a soloist with the Ensemble 212 Orchestra and the Orquesta Sinfonica Sinaloa, and was a semi-finalist in the Hudson Valley Philharmonic Competition.

She has attended the IMS Prussia Cove Masterclasses and Open Chamber Music, and the Taos, Aspen, Sarasota, and Fontainebleau (France) music festivals. Laura is currently assistant principal of the Chamber Orchestra of New York, and has appeared numerous times in the New World Symphony. Laura also serves on the cello faculty of Opus 118 Harlem School of Music, through which she also teaches group cello lessons at New York PS 129. Laura received her masters degree in 2006 from the Mannes College of Music, where she studied with Timothy Eddy.


Gabrielle FinkGabrielle Fink - Violinist

Gabrielle completed her Master of Music Degree and Bachelor of Music Degree at the Manhattan School of Music. She won prizes in several music competitions including the Mizner Competition, National Arts and Letters String Competition, Walenstein Violin Competition and the Harid String Competition for Young Musicians She has also served as a substitute member of the New World Symphony.

Ms. Fink has participated as a scholarship recipient at the Kneisel Hall, Sarasota and Bowdoin International Music Festivals and has performed with members of the Berlin Philharmonic at the Bargemusic Festival in Italy. She recently made her debut in film and will be featured as a solo violinist in an upcoming DreamWorks film titled Ghost Town.


Meagan BrusMeagan Brus - Soprano

Soprano, Meagan Brus performs in and around New York City and the world singing concerts, operas, and recitals. Most recently Ms. Brus has presented recitals in Fukushima and Nihonmatsu, Japan and Düsseldorf, Germany. She has also been seen as a vocal soloist in concerts with "Ten O'Clock Classics" and as La Princesse in Ravel's L'Enfant et les Sortileges with coópera at the Players Club in Manhattan and as Barbarina and Gianetta in the Green Mountain Opera Festival's productions of le Nozze di Figaro and L'Elisir d'Amore garnering praise for her "vocal warmth, and an even line and natural expressiveness".

Ms. Brus has been the First Place Winner in the Opera Guild of Dayton Vocal Competition and was a preliminary finalist in the Dutch International Vocal Competition held in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Her oratorio solo work includes Vivaldi's Gloria, Haydn's Harmoniemesse, Bach's Magnificat and Jesu, Meine Freude, Handel's Laudate Pueri Dominum and Dixit Dominus, and as Amore in Alessandro Scarlatti's opera, Venere, Amore e Ragione. Ms. Brus is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. In 2010 Ms. Brus will be seen as Oberto in Handel’s Alcina with Bourbon Baroque in Louisville, Kentucky and will be a festival artist with the Utah Festival Opera Company.
